 | President of the Rotary Club of Rapid City, Ashok Kumar, presents a check to well-known Lakota artist, Andrea Two Bulls, receiving two beautiful paintings she created for OneHeart at the request of the Rotary Club. Nicky holds the eagle on behalf of OneHeart. The gift of the paintings, valued at $1000, is part of a financial commitment the Noon Rotary Club has made to OneHeart and its affiliated organization, Ride to Work, which provides transportation for clients between their home and the job site. In The Year of COVID, the Club has gifted money and artwork totaling over $3,000 in value to these two agencies alone, in addition to more than $15,000 donated to, among others, YFS, Rural America Initiatives, the Cornerstone Women’s and Children’s Center, and Feeding South Dakota. | |
