![]() | President of the Rotary Club of Rapid City, Ashok Kumar, presents a check to well-known Lakota artist, Andrea Two Bulls, receiving two beautiful paintings she created for OneHeart at the request of the Rotary Club. Nicky holds the eagle on behalf of OneHeart. The gift of the paintings, valued at $1000, is part of a financial commitment the Noon Rotary Club has made to OneHeart and its affiliated organization, Ride to Work, which provides transportation for clients between their home and the job site. In The Year of COVID, the Club has gifted money and artwork totaling over $3,000 in value to these two agencies alone, in addition to more than $15,000 donated to, among others, YFS, Rural America Initiatives, the Cornerstone Women’s and Children’s Center, and Feeding South Dakota. |

VIRTUAL LOTTERY
April 15, 2021
The Rotary Club of Rapid City is hosting a Virtual Raffle at 1:00 PM on April 15 to benefit the Adult Day Center of the Black Hills. The Adult Day Center (“ADC”) is a lifesaver for home-bound caregivers, providing a safe place for their loved one who needs constant attention and care. The services are available any weekday, whether several days a week or just a couple of hours one day. Lunch is served, meds can be administered, even showers are available. Most significantly, the ADC offers the positive culture of a loving home with its dedicated staff, healthy exercise, smiles, and laughter.
Tickets are being sold for $10, or a sheet of 10 tickets for $100. The 20 prizes include a private wine and cheese party hosted by Eric Gardner; $500 cash; gift certificates from Tally’s, Minerva’s, Catered Two, Walmart, the Golden Ticket, and Red Rocks; a weekend in a private “Bare Foot” condo at Terry Peak; several original pieces of Lakota art; a gift basket from Boyd’s and a select wine package.
ALL PROCEEDS go to the Adult Day Center, “The Best Kept Secret in Rapid City.” For tickets email or call Dr. Ashok Kumar at aakumarjr@gmail.com or call him at 605/390-6238.

![]() | On Friday the 5th, Rapid city Rotary club Rotarians: Ashok, Richard, Cathy, and John helped clean the woodshop in the white clay maker space. John donated the table saw for the woodshop, and Keith Johnson donated a device to help assemble photo frames. After completing the work, they went to the Singing Horse Trading post and met with Rosie, Alyssa, and Jessica. They picked up artwork to donate to SDPB BH studio and for the District raffle. They also had a zoom call with Nicky Lucerno from One Heart to help them pick up the art/craftwork they would like to have. |
